Monica Giles, MS, LGPC

I specialize in working with individuals from diverse cultural, gender, racial, faith, and socioeconomic backgrounds, helping them navigate mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in Person-Centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques, creating a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and understood. Whether working through past experiences, managing emotions, or developing coping strategies, my goal is to provide a space for meaningful self-exploration and growth.

My clinical experience includes working in both individual and group therapy settings, supporting clients through a wide range of personal challenges. I have experience helping individuals process complex emotions, set realistic and attainable goals, and develop strategies to improve their overall well-being. My work has also included experience in a VA hospital setting, providing care to a diverse population and reinforcing the importance of a nonjudgmental, compassionate approach to therapy.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where clients take an active role in their healing journey. Everyone's path to wellness looks different, and I strive to tailor sessions to each person’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are looking to build resilience, improve relationships, or gain insight into your emotions and behaviors, I am here to support you. Together, we will work toward creating a stronger foundation for emotional well-being, personal growth, and lasting change
